More recent progress has allowed dentists to treat areas with missing teeth using dental implants. These have also been used in order to improve retention of either new or existing dentures as full mouth rehabilitation with implants may not be an option for everyone. Patients who have experienced loose dentures, or find their dentures cumbersome, may find that implant retained/supported dentures increase their overall comfort. In many cases, we can improve retention with implants without having to fabricate brand new dentures!
